ESG EXCHANGE SERIES | PART IV

Our fourth ESG Exchange event is taking place on Tuesday 16th October 2018 at 2pm. The afternoon will cover ESG topics suggested by the audience at our third ESG Exchange event in March. Please find a write-up of that event here.

Xi Li, Professor at the LSE, will open the event with a recent update to her paper on active ownership, after which she will be joined by Isabella Stanbrook, Sustainability Consultant and Modern Slavery Specialist at Sancroft, and Guido Giammettei, Portfolio Manager and Head of Research for the RBC Emerging Markets Equity Team, for a moderated discussion on the topic.

Andy Last will deliver the keynote speech on 'The Power of Business to Lead Positive Change' which will be followed by a moderated Q&A session. Andy is co-founder of MullenLowe salt and author of the award-winning book 'Business on a Mission: How to Build a Sustainable Brand', copies of which will be available on the day.

Justin Sloggett, Head of Public Markets at PRI, will then discuss the most recent PRI report, after which Judy Cotte, RBC GAM's Global Head of Corporate Governance and Responsible Investing, will present the results of our Responsible Investing Survey. Judy and Justin will be joined by Honor Fell, Vice President at Redington, for a brief moderated discussion on 'ESG Today' which will conclude the event.
